TikTok is undoubtedly the fastest growing social network. Born only 5 years ago, the video creation and sharing application was the most downloaded in the world in 2020, among all social network applications. It even beats Facebook in terms of time spent on the application per user and per month. Its creative content and extreme ease of use make it the favorite social network of young people under 25, who are 41% to use it.

Given its success, TikTok is now a real opportunity to promote your brand or online store. Advertising is still not very present on TikTok, so competition is low and you can easily get known by this new audience and increase the traffic on your store. Moreover, unlike Instagram for example which encourages interactions between people who know each other, TikTok favors interactions between strangers and constantly proposes new content to its users, based on their viewing or like preferences. It is therefore much easier on TikTok than on other social networks to be visible to people who have never heard of you before, and thus, to attract new customers.


Our "TikTok Ads" module allows you to export your entire catalog, or just a selection of products, to TikTok so you can create product ads on the social network.

But it's not just a product exporter.

First of all, it allows you to control in a fine way the product data that you send in the TikTok ads manager thanks to many options. You can choose, among other things, to send each product combination as a separate product, to export only your in-stock products or only the most expensive products in your catalog, for example, in order to make your advertising budget more profitable. You can go even further in your product selection with precise exclusion rules based on many criteria. The module also integrates an advanced custom label attribution system to provide you with multiple segmentation possibilities for your catalog in your advertising manager.

Moreover, the module relies on the product data requirements set up by TikTok and allows you to check the quality of your feed before exporting it, thanks to a powerful diagnostic tool. This one will show you the missing mandatory data or those that are strongly recommended in order to have a high quality data feed, quickly approved by TikTok.

Finally, to be able to create ads fully adapted to the users and to the targeted geographical area, our module automatically generates a product data feed per different "Country/Language/Currency" group installed on your store. Exporting the data is then very simple: you just have to indicate, for each "Country/Language/Currency" group, the URL of the feed provided by the module in the corresponding TikTok catalog and schedule the automatic update of the data at a certain frequency.


"TikTok Ads" also automatically installs a code snippet, called Pixel, on your website pages so that you can track the actions made by your visitors on your store: product or category view, adding to cart, purchase, account creation etc... All these e-commerce events are detected by the pixel and recorded in your dashboard on the TikTok Ads Manager platform so that you can use them for marketing purposes. The pixel configuration is extremely simple: enter the Pixel ID given in your TikTok Ads Manager account, save and that's it! You can immediately observe the first events appear in your TikTok dashboard, and start creating your audiences for your ads.

Indeed, thanks to the data recorded by the pixel, you can then present to the TikTok users who have already come to your site, customized ads to encourage them to come back to your store. Using the exported product data and the activity of your visitors on your store recorded by the pixel, you can create highly targeted ads on your products. For example, if your customers were interested in a product in your store but did not complete the order, you can re-present the same product to them on their TikTok app, or make recommendations based on their visits or purchase history thanks to dynamic remarketing ads.

But that's not all! Thanks to the study of your visitors' data, TikTok is able to build an audience similar to your customer base and display your ads to people who have never been to your site before, but who are likely to be interested in your products. The pixel therefore allows you to re-engage old visitors but also to attract new customers!



An extremely simple configuration

  • Automatic installation of the pixel by the module on the pages of your store: you simply enter the pixel ID given in your TikTok Ads Manager account, save and the module takes care of everything.
  • Automatic implementation of all e-commerce events (product/category page view, add to cart, initiate checkout, purchase, etc.)
  • Possibility to not track events related to products displayed on the homepage, through the deactivation of an option in the module
  • Possibility to enable TikTok's "Advanced Matching" to send encrypted customer email and improve conversion attribution and retargeting
  • Possibility to activate the "consent mode" to take into account the consent of your visitors for the use of TikTok cookies. If you have the "Advanced Cookie Banner" module from Presta-Module, both modules are already configured to work together. If you have another cookie management module, you only need to specify the ID or class of the cookie acceptance button.

Advanced management of the conversion value

When the pixel detects the placing of an order on your shop, it sends the value of the conversion (the order amount) to TikTok. The module allows you to customize this value:

  • Possibility to include or not the taxes in the value of the conversion
  • Possibility to include or not the shipping costs in the value of the conversion
  • Possibility to include or not the wrapping costs in the conversion value

Customization of HTML elements on which to trigger events

If your theme changes the default HTML elements of PrestaShop related to the e-commerce events of adding to cart and initiating checkout, our module allows you to indicate the custom elements of your theme to consider instead of the default ones.



  • Choice of the method for selecting the products to be exported: by category or by brand
  • Products with combinations: possibility to export all the combinations as a single product, or to export each combination as a separate product
  • Selection of the size of the product images to be exported
  • Possibility to send only the main image of the product or all the images
  • Possibility to include the brand or parent category of the product in its title, in addition to its name
  • Choice of the type of product description to export: long, short, both or meta-description
  • Possibility to indicate products as available only if they are in stock, or to indicate them as always available regardless of stock
  • Management of product attributes / features to be exported: sizes, colors, materials, patterns, gender, age group, etc.
  • Possibility to include or not the tax in the price of the products
  • Possibility to export shipping costs (management of carriers by country)

Product exclusion rules

  • Possibility to exclude out of stock products
  • Possibility to exclude products without GTIN code (EAN13/JAN or UPC), or without MPN code
  • Possibility to exclude products with a price below a certain value
  • Possibility to create custom product exclusion rules (exclusion of a specific product or a specific product combination, exclusion based on a feature, an attribute, suppliers, a word or a sequence of words, ...)

Advanced configuration options

  • TikTok official category matching tool: intuitive keyword-based mapping tool to match your product categories with those used by TikTok
