TikTok is undoubtedly the fastest growing social network. Born only 5 years ago, the video creation and sharing application was the most downloaded in the world in 2020, among all social network applications. It even beats Facebook in terms of time spent on the application per user and per month. Its creative content and extreme ease of use make it the favorite social network of young people under 25, who are 41% to use it.
Given its success, TikTok is now a real opportunity to promote your brand or online store. Advertising is still not very present on TikTok, so competition is low and you can easily get known by this new audience and increase the traffic on your store. Moreover, unlike Instagram for example which encourages interactions between people who know each other, TikTok favors interactions between strangers and constantly proposes new content to its users, based on their viewing or like preferences. It is therefore much easier on TikTok than on other social networks to be visible to people who have never heard of you before, and thus, to attract new customers.
Our "TikTok Ads" module allows you to export your entire catalog, or just a selection of products, to TikTok so you can create product ads on the social network.
But it's not just a product exporter.
First of all, it allows you to control in a fine way the product data that you send in the TikTok ads manager thanks to many options. You can choose, among other things, to send each product combination as a separate product, to export only your in-stock products or only the most expensive products in your catalog, for example, in order to make your advertising budget more profitable. You can go even further in your product selection with precise exclusion rules based on many criteria. The module also integrates an advanced custom label attribution system to provide you with multiple segmentation possibilities for your catalog in your advertising manager.
Moreover, the module relies on the product data requirements set up by TikTok and allows you to check the quality of your feed before exporting it, thanks to a powerful diagnostic tool. This one will show you the missing mandatory data or those that are strongly recommended in order to have a high quality data feed, quickly approved by TikTok.
Finally, to be able to create ads fully adapted to the users and to the targeted geographical area, our module automatically generates a product data feed per different "Country/Language/Currency" group installed on your store. Exporting the data is then very simple: you just have to indicate, for each "Country/Language/Currency" group, the URL of the feed provided by the module in the corresponding TikTok catalog and schedule the automatic update of the data at a certain frequency.
"TikTok Ads" also automatically installs a code snippet, called Pixel, on your website pages so that you can track the actions made by your visitors on your store: product or category view, adding to cart, purchase, account creation etc... All these e-commerce events are detected by the pixel and recorded in your dashboard on the TikTok Ads Manager platform so that you can use them for marketing purposes. The pixel configuration is extremely simple: enter the Pixel ID given in your TikTok Ads Manager account, save and that's it! You can immediately observe the first events appear in your TikTok dashboard, and start creating your audiences for your ads.
Indeed, thanks to the data recorded by the pixel, you can then present to the TikTok users who have already come to your site, customized ads to encourage them to come back to your store. Using the exported product data and the activity of your visitors on your store recorded by the pixel, you can create highly targeted ads on your products. For example, if your customers were interested in a product in your store but did not complete the order, you can re-present the same product to them on their TikTok app, or make recommendations based on their visits or purchase history thanks to dynamic remarketing ads.
But that's not all! Thanks to the study of your visitors' data, TikTok is able to build an audience similar to your customer base and display your ads to people who have never been to your site before, but who are likely to be interested in your products. The pixel therefore allows you to re-engage old visitors but also to attract new customers!
